…to be apart of the messianic community? To be adopted sons and daughters of God? We’re a community like no other, wholly separate from the world, having been baptized and anointed with the Holy Spirit to be in Christ. We are his people. Wow. Just wow.
Think about how beautiful it is to be called a Christian. Think about how amazing it is to be apart of this unity in Christ, even when there’s disunity among us on the outside, because on the inside - that is, in the spirit - each and everyone of us - even the most Traditionalist Anti-Papacy Sedevacantist Catholic, and the most Fundamentalist Bible-thumpin’ fire and brimstone Anti-Catholic Baptist - are all one in Christ by virtue of our Christian baptisms. Absolutely amazing.
So everyone, at the end of the day, even when you get into heated arguments with other Christians, just remember that we are all Christians and we all have been established in the body of Christ and we are all to love one another, for anyone who hates a brother is guilty of murder in their heart (1 John 3:15). Amen.
