It’s like troops coming to formation and saluting because the general is about to arrive.

It is, but I’m glad I can’t hear them if they’re like my children. . .
Mom, how come MERCURY gets to be first in line? Mom, Earth is blocking my view. Mom, Jupiter’s in my space. Mom, Where’s Uranus (fits of giggles from all) etc.

@PennyinCanada

Thanks for posting! That is so cool! I have never seen that before.

Then peace will guide the planets, and love will steer the stars ☮️ ❤️

They didn’t leave out Pluto since it’s not included in the plantary line up on the weekend…
Sorry folks! This actually was an event. lol
This weekend kicks off a stellar month of night sky watching, with a lovely full Moon lining up with Jupiter and Saturn.

The best time to see this line up will be about three or four hours after sunset on Sunday (5 July), says amateur astronomer Ian Musgrave.

And you get another chance on Monday night (6 July), when the Moon will be slightly less full and appear beneath the planets in the line up instead of on top.

Looks like Pluto is the odd man out.

When I was in elementary school, Pluto was included as the last planet in our solar system. Since then, it has been dropped. Took me awhile to grasp that a planet it is considered – no more.
