Sorry people , but C A has become Boring ,
I’m Drifting away like a lifeboat from what appears as a sinking vessel
 
It has become rather boring, but I can’t quite put my finger on the reason. Less discussion of serious matter, earlier closing of threads, more randomness; it’s a sign of the times. Sort of like the Twitterization of discussion.

If you find it bring then start a discussion on what YOU find not to be bring.

I agree. It is more boring. The streamlined faster pace might have something to do with it. It seems very difficult to get thoughtful posts because of the drive by nature and functionality. You have to kind of fight the tide. And it only works if others get engaged in the topic. Scrolling and engagement don’t always go hand in hand. Still, keep up the good fight, right. I think it is still the biggest Catholic forum. Man is a social animal.
 
Yes True , I have been advised on another site ,
I hadn’t checked it out , I’m just bobbing along in the life raft , lol
 
I do try other sites from time to time but they have so few people. I was on one where I was getting ready to join to comment on a thread - then I saw that the last post was Jan 2014. My God. I hope CAF doesn’t go that way.

Your not the only one. Whatever were they thinking…sigh. Peace.
 
It has become dull! It doesn’t help that I can’t find anything entertaining to watch on NetFlix either. So boring too! It keeps me coming back.
 
I agree, apparently many former members do as well.So many are MIA.
