It is a time of watching and waiting?

I could have sworn I saw the above statement (or a line similar to it) in my past research. However, I’m unable to find it again on the net.

Does anyone know where it comes from? I thought it was from the Bible

Thanks
Dirk

Maybe you’re thinking about:
Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”-Matt. 26:41

As for what time it is now, it is a time for grace and merit. A time for transformation and conversion of heart; time for building treasure in heaven. Once time runs out, our chance to do good on earth comes to an end. All that time we wasted on earth will be one of our greatest regrets on our last day:

Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if only we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him. 18 I consider that the sufferings of this present time are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us. 19 For creation awaits with eager expectation the revelation of the children of God;

20 for creation was made subject to futility, not of its own accord but because of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that creation itself would be set free from slavery to corruption and share in the glorious freedom of the children of God. 22 We know that all creation is groaning in labor pains even until now; 23 and not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, we also groan within ourselves as we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in hope we were saved. Now hope that sees for itself is not hope. For who hopes for what one sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait with endurance.

LOL. I finally remembered where I read it. I think it was written by one of the members here.
