With regards to daily communion…It wouldn’t be fair to judge those who can not go daily. God may not be asking them or others to do that. It certainly is advantageous to recieve our Lord daily- The Graces, The Graces! For those who can not go daily like myself perhaps the Lord supplies our Grace thru other sources of Prayer.

We can not love our neighbor if we do not love God (dialog of Saint Catherine is very instructing). If you eat love only on sundays, probably you will love only on sundays. I don’t say that Daily Mass makes you a saint (there are many who go for habit), but if you are really trying to love your neighbor, you can’t do it with food once a week.
Many who go to daily Mass do not love, but none who do not go can really love.

I’m going to have to read the Dialog sometime.

Loving God and loving neighbor tend to go hand in hand; one does not increase without the other increasing.

On the other hand, a sure sign that you don’t really love God is if you don’t really love your neighbor.

A lot of people confuse this love of neighbor with a touchy feely, warm fuzzy sensation. True love is not a feeling. It’s a love of the will that desires salvation for all.
