I FINALLY completed my first ever RCIA class this evening after a decade since I had my first calling to become Catholic.

Just sharing this because 18 months ago I never in a million years would of thought tonight would of been able to happen. Feeling very blessed this evening:relaxed: and a little bit emotional 😂.

Congratulations! Sometimes these things take time.

Thank you Jesus for helping this person find the way. Please keep guiding them and sending Your Holy Spirit to them.

And Mother Mary and St. Joseph please watch over them. Amen.

Thank you. There has been many times over these 10 years that I have completely given up hope and felt the faith I had must be wrong.

I’m just so glad God has given me this opportunity now 🙏

10 years is evidence of patience and determination. Congratulations and persevere to the end.

I am so happy for you - I can understand your excitement and joy! Once God calls and we realize it, there is no turning back. I am so proud of you and your determination. Ten years is a long time, but God has answered your prayers.

We don’t always understand but God’s timing is perfect. I’m so excited for you–my husband and I LOVED RCIA. God will surely bless your perseverance and patience. I’m so happy for you, I’m sitting here grinning. Let us know how you’re doing 💜

@NevermoreLenore What a beautiful experience that you and your husband were able to do RCIA together. Such an amazing thing to do together.

I’ll absolutely keep you posted on how it goes.

He certainly has. The fact that it is online means that I can attend each week and the fact that I found out about it a few days before it started this year was just perfect timing.

There wasn’t a class for us and because my husband and I are well versed in scripture and were evangelical leaders, our Director of Christian Education met with us two on one. It was great. He was much younger than us, just married, but he was wise and proficient; now he has three or four children. I was so grateful to do RCIA this way and with this person. He is still in the position eight years later and it’s been great to see his family grow and his confidence increase. His father is a deacon and is an amazing man himself. I’m so grateful for the leaders at our parish. 💜

Blessings for a lifetime and on into eternal life!!! Prayers for you!
