It's been 2 weeks of EWTN and I'm still dancing (not liturgically, of course!)

:dancing: EWTN has been on TV in my area for the last two weeks and I’m absolutely thrilled about it! It’s been years of phone calls, petitions, etc. and the local cable co. has finally agreed to add EWTN to the channel line up. (no more trying to gather family around the computer to view it on-line).

Just wondering: for those of you who have had EWTN available for a while, do you watch it for personal growth only or do you recommend it around as a tool for evangelization – to other Catholics? to those outside the Church? If you use it for evangelization, how do you do it? and how do you tell people about it? Just looking for ideas. . . I want EWTN to become so popular in this area that the cable company won’t be able to snatch it away . . .

We used to have EWTN until our diocese came up with their own channel and they moved EWTN up to a digital cable tier of mostly sports channels. I really miss the EWTN programming. We get some nice local programming about the diocese but the rest of the feed comes from the Archdiocese of Boston which is not exactly a hot bed of conservative Catholicism. Rejoice greatly for having EWTN.
