It's Easter and I see the TV media is at it again per usual!

Why is it that every Easter there seems to be a flurry of contraversial television shows that purport to be factual regarding who Jesus was yet are but veiled attempts to push other agendas.

For example, I see that an upcoming show deals with the agnostic gospels with the commercial stating something like, “Discover who Jesus really was”.

Why not say read the real bible and find out who Jesus really is, and make a show about that!
 
Same thing happens with books too. The news magazines do the annual “Jesus - was he real?” issue and there are gnostic books galore.
