Okay, it is getting close to closing day and in anticipation I’d like to order some custom change of address postcards?

**Does anyone know what I’m talking about? **

I’d like to take a family picture in front of the new house and put the new address, email, & phone information on the side or at the bottom.

Does anyone know where I can order something like this or a site that let’s me make them myself at home? That would be ideal, to avoid the delay in ordering, because I’m having a house warming at the end of April and plan on writing that in the postcard “letter” area on the back.

Here’s some links, I’ve used a few of these in the past but I like your idea about a personalized picture better!:
thestationerystudio.com/
storkavenue.com/

For personalized pictures - Shutterfly is prob a good bet, but here’s what I found:
kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=38/10468/49/567&pq-locale=en_US&CMP=KNC-621V82Y12352
personalizedpostcard.com/
post-a-photo.com/
printsmadeeasy.com/postcards.html

Great idea! Congrats on your house!! We’ll be moving soon too so this is a great idea. Good luck on closing…

Thanks! Knew CAF would come through for me! The Kodak one looks perfect.

If you haven’t already ordered the ones from Kodak, you can actually order post cards from USPS, put in the addresses (very easy to import from an excel file) you need to send to, and they send it all out for you. Of course, you don’t actually handle the cards before they go out so if it’s important to you to have your signature on it, you’ll want to pass this up.

The postage is discounted so it is a VERY good deal. A two-sided, full color postcard on cardstock (not glossy though) is 42 cents apiece for 100, and you don’t have to bother addressing and sending them all. The arrival time is extremely fast, too. Premium goes up to 80-some cents, but is still a pretty good deal.

I used the regular postcards for my wedding announcements (not invitations) and everyone was very impressed. The premium ones a just about photo quality. If you want to test it out, you can send the first one to yourself for free.

Thanks for this thread! My husband and I just closed on purchasing our first home last week. I was wondering what would be a good announcement for my address change and this is perfect! Thanks!

**Oh-ha! Thanks for the USPS link! I’m going to do that one instead. Much less and surprisingly more user friendly than Kodak. Who woulda thunk it?👍 **
