I love that film. And missed it!

I need to remember to set up the DVR. It’s tricky because you set up the film, not a recurring series. Things are hectic this month and we miss weeks.

Enjoyable flick. Dan Ackroyd said he based the Conehead family on SCTV on the high-headed aliens in this film, whose strange appearance and manners are completely unnoticed and unremarked upon by the humans.

Believe it or not, I’ve seen this in a movie theater before (an art house movie theater that is). I enjoyed re-watching it again on television.

I’ve thought both times I saw it that it was strange that the main character who is so brainy and good with technology is also so brawny. Now I can see it was a Tom Swift archetype (this occurred to me after watching him pilot his own plane directly from the press conference to the private airfield).
