Maybe silly to some, but baby time is over. With no more corners to cut and ever rising gas prices, we have decided to potty train our two youngest (2 & 3). Our three year old has be so very relunctant to potty train over the past year without success. šŸ˜¦ It has been very frustrating. Please pray for peace and less stress for our family during a small trying time.
:juggle: Everytime this time comes up in one of my kiddos lives, I get nervous. Maybe to let go of babyhood. Moreso now because it is the last two babies of my brood of five.

Not silly at all. I have been there. Offering my prayers for your comfort and that you may be blessed in enjoying what the new phase brings your way.
 
Thereā€™s an old book that really works with older kids, like yours. Itā€™s called Toilet Training in Less Than a Day. Even if you donā€™t follow the plan exactly, youā€™ll still have it over with in a week or less.

Gas prices?

Oh! I get it. You need diaper money for gas. Well, thatā€™s as good a reason as any to do sometohing that needs doing.

you have decided to toilet train the toddlers, I love it.
just curious about the timing the toddlers themselves have decided upon. kids are a lot like God sometimes, their timing is not our timing.
hope it goes well. grandson has emphatically declared he can be a big boy and still wear diapers and will not even discuss the possibility of using the toilet. Since both parents are strong minded individualists, and he takes after them, this should be interesting.
 
Yes, potty training our 2 and 3 year old. One day down. We went thru 16 pair of underpants between the two of them. The older of the two did much better than before. I think because he isnā€™t watching us change is baby sisterā€™s diaper while being forced to use the potty. Nani, asked right out for her diaper back. When told no, she cried real tears for an hour.
Stood strong and they are both asleep after a much successful day. At it again tomorrow.

At the end of the Divine Mercy Chaplet say three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Invocation: O Blood and Water that gushed forth from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us,
I trust in You (3 times)

Sign of the Cross :in the name of the Father,

Stand strong, Texas! The 2-year-old may be a little immature for this but the 3-year-old should already be on board and setting the example for the young 'un. Whatever your struggle now, you know that thereā€™s a big payoff!

Will pray for you. My son and DIL had the same problem. They finally quit using diapers and put underpants on them. They didnā€™t like the dripping and one of them started using the toilet in one day after this was done. The modern diapers are TOO comfortable for todays toddlers and making them feel icky can work. Good luck!

Not silly at allā€¦with the youngest at 2 and 3 it must be a real handful. Will be praying for you that ā€œThe Lord will give sucess to the work of your handsā€ and your heartā€¦I wish you all the best and much luck and heaps of blessings and most of all I wish you success. Will keep you and the whole family in daily pryaerā€¦
