IUD's cause an abortion reaction?

Call me dumb I 'm expecting my third grandchild, but know little on birth control. Anyway I read some of the some of the half dozen pamlets my daughter recieved and one was on birth control. The one about these IUD’s say it causes a “reaction” :bigyikes: What does that mean??? Is a woman having an abortion and not even knowing. They never said the word but I think I read between the lines correctly.
 
Yes, the woman is having an abortion and is probably not even aware of it. The IUD is NOT a contraceptive since it does not prevent conception at all. The way it “works” is to prevent implantation of a newly conceived baby.

That is horrible. thank you for the info. I can't understand why anyone would want to have this.
 
The IUD is probably the most dangerous form of birth control out there. It is dangerous to insert (it’s an internal surgical operation), has all the risks and side effects of the pill, and is even more likely to cause abortion.

Next time you see an ad in a magazine for the pill or IUD, check the tiny print, thier information on the risks and benefits comes from pro-abortion agencies like Allen Guttmacher.

The IUD irritates the lining of the uterus. It does nothing to prevent ovulation, only implantation. The medical community does not consider this an abortion-- the AMA changed their definition of pregnancy from conception to implantation after all these “contraceptives” were invented. But, the truth is the truth-- it is absolutely abortion.

That really is horrible. I didn’t know there was a birth control method that only worked by preventing implantation.
