Yes, I would appreciate that but please don’t use my username. Hmm, you can tell her a CAF member is concerned.

I knew she was having a few problems with negative comments on her blog. I and another CAF member suggested she should take a break from her blog and YouTube page.

carmelitegirl93, also sent me a message stating that she was having problems with her computer so that could be the answer.

BrandonO Our dear friend went for a visit with the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Cristo Rey in San Francisco, CA but since then she has returned.

So carmelitegirl93 didn’t stay with the nuns? She only went there for a visit? I’m a little unclear on this…:confused:

They didn’t accept her as a postulant, and she had to return ‘to the world’?

And she was so excited about going…😦

Thanks for the link-I went over and watched it.

I can see why the Carmelites compared her with St. Josephine Bakhita!

carmelitegirl93 is so sweet–and i think the nuns were wise in advising her to remain in the world for a little while longer. She looks very young!

Ah, okay-well, I can understand why the Carmelites advised her to wait.

Usually the minimum age for entry into the Discalced Carmelites is 21.

I once thought of entering the Carmelites myself, when I was fifteen. I read about St. Therese entering at that age, and I wanted to do the same! 😃 :o

Hello every one! I want to thank you all for being here in my time of need God knows I need the best of friends by me right now.
