I've joined the RCIA at the right time!

I’ve been thinking really hard about becoming a Catholic for almost 9 years now and at the start of September this year, I started attending Chapel and spoke to the Father about joining the RCIA. It turns out this was the best time to join for two reasons: 1 The RCIA classes started two weeks after enquiring, and 2. This was the first RCIA class in 10 years and we have 9 Catecumens and Neophytes in our class. The Lord has surely blessed us, bringing us all together at the right time .
 
Congratulations! I am Catholic but attend RCIA for the study of the Sunday readings, and to deepen my knowledge of the sacraments. It is truly a gift. God Bless!

The NORM for RCIA [I co-taught it for 3 years].is Sept to Easter. It will INTRODUCE you to our Beautiful Catholic Faith, BUT leave VERY MUCH to be learned, which is up to you to accomplish. ASK a lot of questions and we here on CAF CAN help you.

Just to clarify for others, “norm” in this sense is referring to the fact that this is the schedule many if not most parishes in the U.S. follow. It is not a “norm” in the Church law sense as though it has to follow this calendar. Other parishes are free to follow a different timeline.
