No. Your life has intrinsic value and use, regardless of whether you acknowledge it or not.

And how do you know you WILL be making your own decisions and not bullied into it by an overeager doctor or a relative who feels that you’re a burden to them?

People are bullied and coerced into abortions every day, what makes you think they wouldn’t be bullied into euthnasia just as often?

The heart of the problem is just that, people wanting to make their own decisions about life. They feel they have more wisdom than God has in matters of life and death. This includes the unborn as well as those they would term “useless eaters”. As for the Catholic Church coming to approve of such things, don’t hold your breath, as it will never happen.

So when things are going well you have not qualms about taking Gods gift of life (without much gratitude by the sounds of it) but as soon as things get too tough you through that gift back in his face?
