One of my favourite gospel contradictions. I dig the “women” were not part.

It’s not a contradiction. A contradiction by definition is two statements that cannot be true at the same time.

This argument was settled in the 2nd Century and proclaimed in the 3rd by Eusebius; showing once again that the Bible that Christians have is the same as it was 2000 years ago. The discussions we’re having were discussed 1800 years ago, way before Islam came and validated the very Gospel you criticize. It wasn’t until later that Muslims started reading the Gospels and noticed the “true contradictions” ie: Christ died on the cross/Christ never died on the cross.

Your religion also fails to give any lineage from anyone. Some claim that Muhammad is a descendant of Ishmael, but even that is contested. Tell me; where is your documentation that traces all the way back to Adam, through Ishmael to Muhammad? Was it corrupted and lost as well?

Greetings.

The definition you gave fits it perfectly. Unless you want to claim that Joseph had 2 dads. The matter was not settled in the 3rd century. The excuses started comming since the 3rd century and 1800years later christians have still not maneged to solve the contradiction.

As for you poor understanding of the Quran and what is meant by confirming i will not bother with that as i do not entertain red herrings.

As for this linage its first of useless as Joseph was not the father of Jesus. Second its false as mankind is not 6000 years old.

Slow down on the red herings. It shows both the fact that you are ashamed of your book and that you have doubts so you need to attack in order to feel better. If you want to discuss Islam go to a muslim forum. If you are unable to defend your faith without red gerrings than let someone else do it.
