Greetings,
I would like to know if there’s any Catholic Missionary group in Japan?
And also, is it possible for a newly convert to be a missionary?

PS: And also, I have some “personal” dream. If anyone can help me with that please PM.

:blessyou:

Regarding your second question: yes, absolutely!

Some resources that may help:

Apostolic Exhortation “Christifideles Laici” on the vocation and the mission of the lay faithful in the Church and in the world.

Decree “Apostolicam Actuositatem” on the apostolate of the laity.

The Catechism also speaks of this in many parts, ex. here (849-856) and here.

Of course, we ought to always be prudent, as our Lord taught us, and the best way is to work along with the Parrish, also in the knowledge that “no undertaking is to claim the name Catholic without the consent of the competent ecclesiastical authority” (Canon 216).

When I lived in Japan, there a Marynoll Church in my town.
