Japanese Catechism?

Is there a Japanese translation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church? I’ve been looking for information, but all I’ve found is an online article published in 2001 about how the Japanese hierarchy wasn’t accepting proposed translations for heterodox reasons. I want to know if that issue has been settled, because I think a translation of the CCC would be very helpful in spreading the faith there and promoting an understanding of what the church teaches.

I saw a Zenit article that said it would be published in July, 2002.

I see a Japanese Catholic Catechism that was published in July, 2002, but it has no reviews.

However, on the USCCB website, the Japanese translation is still listed as pending.

So, if your Japanese is good, and if you have $45 to spare, you might order a copy and see what was published in 2002, and see if it was a placeholder publication while they continued to hammer out the problems that were addressed in your 2001 article, or if it’s the real thing, and the USCCB webmaster didn’t get the memo that the Japanese edition had gone from “pending” to “available”.
