The YouTuber.

I like listening to him, especially his videos about marriage (you can find them under “Doing Life”). One problem: he is a protestant. Any objection to his ideas from a Catholic point of view?

Most of us Catholics aren’t going to sit through multiple videos by some Protestant to see if his ideas all agree with the Catholic POV. We simply don’t have time for that.

The real question is why, if you’re a Catholic, you’re seeking out random Protestants on Youtube for marriage advice when there are dozens of Catholic resources on this subject and you won’t have to be wondering if the ideas expressed in them are okay with the Church or not.

Basically, if you’re not well versed enough in your faith to know when a non-Catholic is saying something that disagrees with Church teaching without your having to ask others, you shouldn’t be listening to non-Catholics.
