This article by Fr Martin X Moleski SJ may be of interest to those of you who yourselves are or know someone who is planning to send their child to a Jesuit educational institution. Not all Jesuit institutions are like this but it is a case of caveat emptor - let the buyer beware. If you value your Catholic Faith research the Jesuit institution to which you are thinking of entrusting your precious children and scarce dollars. If you are an alumni of a Jesuit Institution and donate money to it, research your alma mater to see if it is still promoting sound Catholic values Just by going to the website of colleges you can get an idea of where the Faith ranks on their priority list.

Wow! What a courageous man for writing this. Everyone should read this article.

The truly sad thing is that at least they are doing it for federal funding, I have experienced the same exact attitude in our local Catholic Elementary and High Schools, who appear to just want to be “enlightened”.

Very sad 😦

That article is depressing. As I read it, I thought about a Catholic relative who went to a Jesuit University and who embraces non-Catholic values and bad theology taught at that school. Before I read very far into the article, the imagery of a stinking corpse struck me hard and reminded me of a Bible story. From John 11

" 'Take away the stone.’ Jesus said. Martha said, ‘Lord, by now there will be a stench. He has been dead for four days.’ "

That article may be correct about the current state of Catholic education at many Jesuit Universities, but that can’t stop Jesus from working miracles. He shows the glory of God when we believe.

" Jesus said to her, ‘Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?’ So they took away the stone. Jesus raised his eyes and said, ‘Father, I thank you for hearing me. I know that you always hear me; but because of the crowd here I have said this, that they may believe that you sent me.’ And when he had said this, he cried out in a loud voice, 'Lazarus, come out! The dead man came out, tied hand and food with burial band, and his face was wrapped in a cloth. So Jesus said to them, ‘Untie him and let him go.’ "

We must believe. Jesus can resurrect stinking corpses from the dead.
