I know that Simon’s name is changed to Peter, and he is now the “rock”, a point that Bible Christians dispute. Where else is Scripture are men referred to as the same kind of thing Jesus is. For instance, we are called priests even though Jesus is High Priest (I need help finding where this verse is, and any other examples). Somewhere in the NT letters I believe the Apostles are called the foundation and/or stones, but Christ is also that.
The point is that just because Jesus appointed men to a task, it does not diminish His position as the First and the Last in everything.
If you can help me find more examples I would be grateful.

Eph 2:19-20 - Household of God has foundation of Apostles with Christ as cornerstone
Rev 21:14 - Apostles are foundation of Heavenly Jerusalem

1 Peter 2:9 - We as believers are a priesthood

1 Tim 1:2,18, 1 Cor 4:17, 2 Tim 1:2, 2:1 - Paul refers to Timothy as his son which infers a fatherly role
Titus 1:4 - Paul refers to Titus as a child which infers a fatherly role
Philemon 10 - Paul refers to Onesimus as his son and that he becomes a father to him
1 Peter 5:13 - Peter refers to Mark as his son
1 Cor 4:14-15 - Paul says “…For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel”

There are more, but I hope these are some of what you are looking for.

God Bless.

Yes, these are just what I need. If there are more, great! If this is it, thanks for your help!
