Jesus coming again

I’ve been having some religious arguements with some Seventh-day Adventist friends of mine. One asked, “If after you die you either go to heaven or hell (notice how she won’t say purgatory :D) what is the point of Jesus coming back?”

Oh, help! I have no answer.
 
Jesus comes back to judge the world, and at His coming we will all get our bodies back and be sent either to Heaven or hell. Jesus second coming is the completion of time, the fullness of God’s Kingdom.

At our death we receive “particular judgment” which declares whether we go to hell, purgatory, or heaven. Our bodies remain on earth. When Jesus returns, final judgment is rendered and we get our bodies back.
 
He comes back to fulfill the ushering in of the Kingdom. He restores the cosmos to its original glory before we sinned - “Behold I make all things new.” We too are restored and given transfigured bodies to dwell with Him in the restored cosmos, on the restored earth- 'thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven".
