Jesus also died on the cross to save atheists, Buddhists, Confusionists, devil worshippers, Moslems, Jews, Protestants, and yes, even Catholics. Jesus died on the cross to save every member of the human race.

This should be kept in mind when we see people of other religions visiting Catholic Churches to pray and to worship.

And when people of other religions visit a Marian shrine, we should keep in mind the beautiful prayer that we learned in childhood:

“Remember O Most Gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thine protection, implored thine help, or who sought thine intercession, was left unaided…”

When people, whatever their religion, pray to the Blessed Virgin Mary, she will help them. She will lead them to Christ. Mary is the spiritual mother and the queen of the whole human race.

Very true, Jesus did die for Hindus and all mankind but only those who trust in Him as Savior will benefit from his death on the cross as Jesus himself said “I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through Me” John 14:6; and also, “He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12; and also “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 So how terrible would it be for us (who know Jesus) to allow Hindus to go on thinking that all roads lead to heaven and they will make it there by doing their Hindu thing??!!! It is up to us to tell them the truth and pray that they are freed from the bonds of Satan.

If this is a worship to the true God, then it’s okay. But if it’s a worship of a false god–it is to be condemned. Who is the god of the Hindus??? True, Christ died for ALL. But He didn’t say to worship any other God. Have we forgotten the 10 Commandments? Or maybe just the first two that Jesus said in the Gospels so it’s not hard to memorize.

If these hindus are there at the Shrine to know the faith and not to make circus of their “faith”, I guess it’s very acceptable. But if they are there to propagate falsehood–then we must think a hundred times if we will approve it. We cannot as Catholics–allow any false gods to be worshipped at the Shrine!
