Jesus, I trust in you

St. Faustina’s message has been boiled down by some to:
  1. Ask God for mercy
  2. Be merciful to others
  3. Completely trust in Jesus
I have struggled with what it means to trust in Jesus and I think it’s useful to remember the defintion of trust:

“firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.”

So:

“firm belief in the (I will add: ABSOLUTE and DIVINE) reliability, truth, ability, and strength of Jesus”

God bless

“I trust in You” is not primarily a matter of feeling.

It can be, and in this case, it’s fine.

But many times our reaction to problems is panic.

No big deal, because “I trust in You” is first of all a turning the sight to Jesus, with the desire and the will to trust in Him, telling him: “Increase our faith”.

Fear, lack of confidence, is not a problem, only the absence of the fight against the fear is a problem.

Yes, we have to keep our eyes on the goodness of God, keep realizing how His goodness keeps working in our lives every day. That has been a biggie for me this year.

Good to share the faith with you…
