The blesphemy of the media seems to get thicker at this Holy season. Last night I tuned into the National Geographic channel to see a program on the Shroud of Turin. I caught the last 10 minutes of the show that was on before. The premiss was that Jesus and Mary Magdeline were married and had children together. Of course the "scolars’ could find no proof of this but the slant of what I saw was that it would make him more acceptable, more human if he were a “family man”.
has anyone else ever heard of this theory?
By the way, instead of a piece on the shroud as an important relic, the focus was to point out Galileo as the perpetrator of the shroud hoax.
At least I did get a chance to catch part of Jesus of Nazareth late night.
