Does it bug some of us that they appear to look different? I mean, what’s her name, Faustina Kowalska was never satisfied with the divine mercy image. But does it bug any of us?

No the Divine Mercy image does not bug me.
But, I can understand seeing something of indescribeable beauty and then being disappointed when you try to make a drawing/painting of it and it falls short of what you have seen.
Do you think, when we actually come face to face with Jesus, that we will say - yes, You look just like the Divine Mercy picture, or will we be astounded at His beauty?

Doesn’t bother me at all. The Queen of England has different outfits for different occaisions, why not the Queen of Heaven, or the King of Kings?

Any painted or sculpted image of our LORD or Mary is just someone’s interpretation. As to the DM, no doubt she was dissatisfied BECAUSE it did NOT match what she knew?
The only Jesus image that I’d “trust” as “accurate” (for whatever that’s worth) is the Shroud of Turin. And if HIS eyes are so commanding sealed in death, it would be indescraibable to see them alive and lit up, gazing into mine!!!
The Christus Pantocrator icon, which matches the shroud face at 650 data points, I’d also consider accurate.
I saw someplace that the DM also matches the Shroud face, but do not remember where.
