Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The title of this thread is taken from Chapter 13 of the last book written by Sister Lucia of Fatima: " ‘Calls’ From the Message of Fatima". Her first paragraph states:
Sister Lucia is calling for more than an “occasional” time of devotional prayer. Sister writes in Chapter 13 and throughout her book in far deeper terms! What a heartache to me to see declines in devotion to Mary, especially in our time! After Fatima Jesus and Mary appeared together to Sister Lucia:
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.
Righteous Heart of Joseph, and all the Saints and Angels, pray for us.

Yesterday I posted a thread on “Fridays and Saturdays - any reparation offered?” in which we discussed devotion to the Sacred Heart on Fridays and the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Saturdays. Some Catholics are still unaware of First Friday and First Saturday devotions which call us to reparation for our sins and the sins of the World which pierce the Heart of God and our Mother. To establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary means to bring people to a full consecration through conversion, self-dedication, intimate esteem, veneration and love. Thus, it is in this spirit of consecration and conversion that God wishes to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

May many more Catholics begin to re-consecrate themselves to Jesus through Mary and begin to amend their lives to give witness by God’s Grace to the world in which so many hearts are growing colder. Mary has been called by Pope St. JPII the "Star of the New Evangelization. Mary is like the star which can guide us safely home, yet many Catholics today speak less of her today. Too many continue to pierce her Heart and the Heart of her Son.Lucia was a postulant in the Convent of St. Dorothy in Pontevedra, Spain when she had the apparition of our Blessed Mother. She was standing over a cloud of light with the Child Jesus at her side. The Blessed Virgin put one hand on Lucia’s shoulder, while her other hand sustained her Immaculate Heart that was surrounded with thorns. The Child Jesus said: "Have compassion on the Heart of your Blessed Mother. It is surrounded with thorns that ungrateful men pierce each moment, and there is no one that is willing to offer an act of reparation to take the thorns away."
Our Lady immediately said to Lucia: "Look, my daughter. My Heart is surrounded with thorns that ungrateful men pierce unceasingly with their blasphemies and ingratitude. You, at least, try to console me… (more can be read HERE)
