Here is a poem from my book I’d like to share with you.

Jesus

In pain and anguish on a cross he still asked to forgive
He made the greatest sacrifice to see that we would live
Believer’s gazed upon him and felt helpless as they cried
And for a time he suffered and for all of us he died
The end and the beginning and the only son of God
Forgave us for our sins because as people we were flawed
And once again he rose up and he came alive from death
He opened up his eyes and drew another loving breath
The Lord of love who rules the Earth from mountains to the sea’s
Who hears us from a distance as we praise and ask him please
Had rose again on Easter to relieve us of our strife
And be our Lord and Savior and our path to lasting life
