CANTERBURY, England (RNS) Attacks on Jews and Muslims in London, including assault and harassment, have soared by more than 60 percent over the past year, police statistics show.

The Metropolitan Police dealt with 483 anti-Jewish incidents in the 12 months between November 2014 and November 2015, marking a 62 percent increase over the same period last year.

So long as a population of people are viewed as statistics instead of humans, these crimes will continue.
 
Let us all pray for peace and for the conversion of those committing violence and other crimes.

The risk of being a victim of personal hate crime in the 2012/13 to 2014/15 CSEW (Appendix Table
4.05) was highest, for example, among:
 people aged 16 to 24 (0.4% experienced personal hate crime), and in particular men aged 16 to
24 (0.5% of 16 to 24 year-old men experienced personal hate crime, compared with fewer than
0.05% of men aged 75 and over);
 those with the religious group ‘other’ (1.1%) or Muslim (0.6%) compared with 0.1% of Christian
respondents;
 people with Black (0.7%), Asian (0.5%) or Mixed Ethnic (1.4%) backgrounds compared with
White adults (0.1%);
 those whose marital status was single (0.4% compared with 0.1% of married adults);

The typical aggressor are young males, and the typical victims are young males.
