Someone who does not recognize their own questions from their own posts that I quote back to them I find hard to accept as being honest about their intentions.

When I copied, pasted, and quoted Rose’s own question back to her just to have Rose write in return that this was the first time she had ever seen it, I realized that I could never get through to her no matter what I wrote.

I work in forensics, both in science and speech/debate and have done so for over 30 years now. If you can explain to me why Rose was not recognizing her own writing, claiming she never wrote it, and then using this claim of hers to negate my answers to her, then I will accept what you have to say.

But from a forensic standpoint this is what is known in psychology as a self-preserving diversionary tactic. A person drowns another with questions, seeking not to understand but to become the center of attention or, worse, to proselytize.

When the limelight comes off of them or their proselytizing is discovered, the subject feigns to have been engaged in the activity or to have asked questions in the first place.

Now if Rose is sincere, and this may be true, there may be some communication problems on her part. Someone may need to fill me in on what they are. And Rose may need to go one step at a time too and review her own posts and see that she did indeed ask this question I was attempting to answer and that I quoted from her own post.

Otherwise there is no reason for me to continue as there is no order here.

nsofar as there being no explicit reference to the Messiah in Prophets, of course there is no EXPLICIT reference. We know the prophets spoke in metaphors and riddles. The apologetics on the issue of the Messiah is based on implicit suggestion and, well, prophecy. However, even prophecy needs a context, to be sure, and the Jewish argument generally attempts to ground the prophecy according to the historical and cultural context, whereas the Christian perspective tends to work backwards from the words and deeds of Jesus to the predictions of the prophets, for example, Isaiah.

Respectfully thank you for your answer meltzerboy2 that I addressed, directly asking you, within my first post. Asking 2 questions. I directed my questions to you, because I have come to respect and admire the way you answer questions, for me they are easy to follow and understand, not going beyond what ones questions are, which can become confusing when beginning to learn and hearing something new for the first time, which one has never heard before not being a Jew, can lead to so many other questions, like the Temple cannot be standing?

For I have read all your answers, that have given me a better understanding and learning something new, in what I am ignorant of, simply wanting to learn. Your reply >>has answered both my 2 questions.

Wanting you to know also I do not take the Bible literally either in all things written,some do indeed within our Church thou. So true the Bible is filled with metaphors, songs, poetry, allegories, parables, stories, history etc.

Again thank you meltzeroy2 for your answer, making me aware in teaching me>> there is a difference in understanding the concept of the Christian - Messiah and the Jewish - Mashiach.
