First, I had a hard time deciding where to post this question.
Second, a little background so you are wondering why I am considering this:
We live in a small town for a year and a half now. My younger daughter is 3 and there is a new Christian school being built to open this coming fall, beginning infants through kinder, adding a grade every year, just 3 miles from us. Would be great if she could go there because we have no friends here, and the next closest preschool is 30+miles away. (WHen she starts kinder, she won’t be going there, just for preschool.) But, with the preschool cost, I would need some type of supplemental income (I have stayed home for the last 6 years). So I inquired about working there, part time, same as the preschool hours, as my college degree and work experience is early childhood education.
On the job application, as well as the student/family application, there is the Statement of Faith of the Evangelical Free Church of America.
On the job app. you can check the box where it says you agree fully, or check a different box saying you agree except for the following areas, which you state and explain.
The more I look at it, the more I see I need to write about.
How can I address the areas of disagreement with a brief explanation?
I have included the link to Statement of Faith, but here is a brief list:
–Bible–“ultimate authority”
–“Human beings are sinners by nature, alienated from God, under His wrath…”
–Jesus–“representative and substitute…death and resurrection only ground for salvation”
–Holy Spirit–“convicts the world of its guilt”
–justification by “faith alone”
–“Jesus mandated two ordinances–baptism and the Lord’s Supper…not the means of
salvation…confirm and nourish the believer”
–premillenial return of Jesus
–unbeliever is condemned, believer goes to heaven

any advice would be great, I have been sitting on this for a week wondering what to do.
