Looking for a good commentary on JOB. This book is kicking my butt. I understand most of the themes of the speeches his friends use but the poetry and metaphors are very difficult for me to grasp completely.
Job is supplemental to Genesis. It is placed apart from Genesis in the canon of Scripture but should be read and understood in the context of the storyline in the Book of Genesis.
Study the Book of Genesis in order to have a better understanding of the Book of Job. Read Job in light of Genesis and it will come alive.
