Wondering if anyone here has read it; I’m looking in particular for a Catholic perspective.
The reason I ask: I associate myself most closely with Word Of Faith. And I’m finding the fundamentals I hold most important are closer to Catholic doctrine than Protestant. (I heard Father Larry preach on “victorious living” yesterday, and durn near dislocated my TMJ
).
I think it fair, btw, to sum up Bevere’s main points in Under Cover as: When you rebel against God or against those He has placed in authority over you, you risk a) moving outside His sphere of protection or covering, b) missing blessings, and c) developing a hardened or seared heart.
