Encylopedias and a real live man from India tell of a John who came to the Western part of India during the first century. He built a Church there. There is a wrought iron cross in the Church graveyard with the name John. Many Christians are still there today.
Do you know this John. I was told that he was “the other John”. Is he listed in Scripture? Thanks.
John? It is my understanding that the Apostle Thomas founded the Church in India. Here’s an article on the St. Thomas Christians of India (newadvent.org/cathen/14678a.htm) There are several John’s mentioned in the article but they are later.
