Hello,
A few weeks ago a parish in my diocese hosted a speaker by the name of John Leary. He claims to be receiving locutions for our Lord. However, after doing some research, I have found evidence of theological error in his “messages.” The bishop of his diocese (Rochester) also issued a statement regarding these “locutions” saying they are, “of human origin.” However, many faithful in my diocese still believe Mr. Leary’s “messages.”
Have any of you heard of this man?
He preaches about Jesus second coming, end of the world etc., does this come into conflict with the teaching of “no new revelation after Jesus Christ”?
What should be done about Mr. Leary’s messages?
Thanks for the help.
