Hope that all of you are as excited as I am for the upcoming canonizations. Here is an idea that we are using in Lincoln, Nebraska to get people to pay attention: we are printing 6’x16’ banners for school gymnasiums with the portraits of Popes JPII and John XXIII and their canonization date which will be hung up in time for the start of basketball season. These are HUGE banners that can’t be missed. We found a printer that would do it for $150, and I simply ask the school if they want one, then ask three donors for $50. It is a super easy “sell” and I think it will go a long ways toward making people aware (and hopefully excited) about their upcoming canonizations. I attached a pic of what they will look like
