Hey y’all,
Has anyone out there ever read the book “Judas, My Brother” by Frank Yerby? I ask because this book, which I read in high school, did more to yank me away from my nominally Christian upbringing than any other source I can p(name removed by moderator)oint. And now, some 13 years later, that I’ve come home to the Church, I’d like to hear some criticism on the book.
What do you say? I remember, at 17, being overwhelmed and impressed by the endnotes that seemed so clearly to prove his positions. And since I’ve long since rid myself of my copy of the book, I can’t go back and debunk them. Anyone a lucid enough critic of Mr. Yerby’s novel to help me out? Not that I need debunking for any spritual reasons, I just think it would be interesting to hear now what I should have heard years ago- you know, the Truth.
Cheers,
Cari
