Round two of insane rulings. I believe this one is more egregious:

A former high school teacher who pleaded guilty to the homosexual rape of one of his teenage students will avoid jail time.

Gregory Pathiakis, 26, of Brockton, Mass., pleaded guilty yesterday to one count of rape of a child, enticement of a child under 16, five counts of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of harmful material to a child, according to the Enterprise newspaper of Brockton, Mass.

Oh my. I don’t even know how to respond to something like this. It’s absolutely horrifying that people like this can commit such a crime and get nothing but a slap on the wrist. I’m afraid there will be much more of this to come, especially out of Massachusetts.

The school systems in Massachusetts need to better communicate with one another about rogue teachers.
Pathiakis had resigned his post at Middleboro High School on Dec. 3, 2003, three weeks before the incident, after school officials confronted him about online contacts he had with students while off-duty.
The day before his arrest, Pathiakis worked as a substitute teacher at Brockton High School.
Pathiakis was forced to resign from a teaching position at Pope John XXIII High School in Everett in 2002 after just six weeks on the job, but never listed that job on his resume.
He left that job after school officials at the Catholic school discovered he was asking students to e-mail homework to a Web site linked to offensive jokes.

Your absolutely right! I heard about this on Fox News. When I turned into the local news last night and this morning, no mention of this was made. If the citizens of MA who care about children don’t here about this, no noise will be made and this type of “justice” will continue. There is an agenda, especially here!

This type of offender will not stop at this; guaranteed.

All the decision of the courts does is move him on to ‘new pastures’, news fronts with which he will seek to victimise children. All that does is make it harder for him to work close to children (it won’t be impossible), and definately not in schools.

What if he just moves on from state to state?

From now on, he’ll be more careful… but he won’t stop.

Overall, this only ‘ups the anti’, and next time he might try to make certain the child can talk after the act is done.

He is a predator… no better and even worse than killers in certain respect. People of his caliber should be permanenetly segregated from main stream society in my opinion, until undisputedly proven to be harmless - and even then, their movements in public should be greatly restricted.

I can’t believe he won’t get jail? They’ll really wait for him to kill before doing something concrete about this guy?

SFD!!! I cannot express my anger and frustration to cases like this one…

Hmm- it makes perfect sense to me that this guy won’t get jail time. After all, aren’t gays and their apologists always telling us that homosexual behavior (as opposed to homosexual desires only) is part of “who they are” and that, unlike heterosexuals, they “can’t help it”? It wouldn’t be right to send this guy to jail for something he couldn’t control, now would it?

LOL

Good point B-S (though, its so true its not even funny!)

Furthermore, most homosexual groups are fighting to lower the age of consentement; the young are more gullible and thus this would advance their agenda, and also… hmmm… what other reason do you think this particular person, this former teacher might have to lower the age of consent? Waht could that reason possibly be? Let’s think about this awhile shall we?

On second thought… lets not.

So letting him move on to new “hunting grounds” is the answer…will people/the state be held accountable if/when he attacks another boy?? Are the going to hold themselves up to the same standards that they have been screaming about holding the Church up to??? How can you yell at the bishops for moving abusers around if you do the same thing… SHAME on this judge. Punish him!!!

Burning…tempting…but no… he should get jail time though

Well, i’m sure this guy was just looking for a normal, healthy monogamous relationship with another man, but because of the shame he felt because of an oppressive Christianized society, he acted out in this regrettable way. So clearly it’s our fault.
Also, if he was a priest, his head would be on a pike by now and another 10,000 people would have left the Church. But since it’s not hypocrisy, the media smiles upon it.

I didn’t hear about this and I watch the news often and read the paper every day (I live in MA) but if that’s the whole story, it’s disturbing.
