Judgement in the Old Testamant

There is a passage (from one of the prophets I believe) in the Old Testament that alludes to the general judgment and seems to mention something about the wicked being judged by those (now standing alongside God) they have killed. I have been thinking about this a great deal as I reflect upon the modern attack on life in the social and political spheres. Does this ring a bell with anyone? If anyone is familiar with the passage I am talking about please post. Thanks much.

I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Thanks for the response. I believe the one I was thinking of is from Ezekiel or Isaiah. I would still be very interested if you or anyone else has any other passages that come to mind. I’ll look up both and read so if I find it I’ll post too.

I have software that can search the RSV (and the KJV). If you can remember the words more exactly, I can try again.

I didn’t find anything in either Isaiah or Ezekiel, when I searched under “wicked near judgment” and with all the other forms of “judge.”

I’m not sure if this is what you are looking for, but perhaps Isaiah 3:91-15

"9 Their partiality witnesses against them; they proclaim their sin like Sodom, they do not hide it. Woe to them! For they have brought evil upon themselves. 10 Tell the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds. 11 Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for what his hands have done shall be done to him. 12 My people–children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, your leaders mislead you, and confuse the course of your paths. 13 The LORD has taken his place to contend, he stands to judge his people. 14 The LORD enters into judgment with the elders and princes of his people: “It is you who have devoured the vineyard, the spoil of the poor is in your houses. 15 What do you mean by crushing my people, by grinding the face of the poor?” says the Lord GOD of hosts."
