People talk about how God “wouldn’t throw someone into Hell for such htings as using contraception… missing Mass on Sunday, etc…”
But how do they know?
Aren’t they judging God when they say - with absolute certainty - that He would “never” do this or never do that??
People have told me that I should do this or that because God wants me to be happy. But… How do they know?? Yes, God wants me to be happy… in Heaven… & sometimes on Earth but if i am TOO happy here below, well, hey, i wouldn’t even want to die and go to Heaven… (the Word tells us to hate our lives… that he who loves his life will lose it…).
I wish people would stop speaking for God as though they know His will absolutely…
But how do they know?
