Judgment and widespread Pestilence

I have heard that God and allow judgment. Now there’s pestilence and epidemic. The epidemic simply being highly contagious. Pestilence is connected to something outside like a drought, flood, heat and is a highly spread symptom. Does God use more or favor more once of these forms of mass judgment?

The reality is that historically we are.never far removed from disasters of various kinds, in one part of the world or another, and sometimes extensively, so that may be difficult to categorically determine in human history.
