Dear Brothers and Sisters,
God loved the world so much He gave His Son to us, through Mary by the power of His Holy Spirit. Jesus gave His Life on the Cross and in His Words to John He also gave to all of us His Mother, saying: “Behold YOUR MOTHER”.
As we prepare to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart on Friday, June 19 - followed immediately by the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, June 20, – let us remember the unique and beautiful union Jesus has with His Mother and His desire to have all of us as His Beloved brothers and sisters. He came to us the first time through her and He will come at the end through her powerful intercession. As Mary said at Fatima: “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph”
As mentioned yesterday, I’m posting today an “Act of Consecration” to the Sacred Heart, which my hisband and I intend to pray on thr Feast of the Sacred Heart this Friday. We prayed it when moving into our home some years ago and decided to renew it this year:

Come Holy Spirit fill the Hearts of Your Faithful. Kindle in us the Fire of Your Love. We cannot say we love God if we do not love one another. Jesus reminds us in today’s Gospel:Merciful Jesus, I consecrate myself and my family to Your Most Sacred Heart.
Through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day. I ask that You accept my offering for the intentions of my familily and friends and in reparation for my sins.
Thank You for all Your gifts, general as well as special: for creation, redemption, the sacraments and for all the graces You have given me. Please join my thanks with the continuous thanksgiving You offer to the Father in the Eucharist.
Grant me the grace to direct my heart and my mind to You throughout this day. Fill me with Your Love and grant that I may be faithful to Your commands, today and always. Amen.
Today’s Alleluia verse also reminds us:Jesus said to His disciples:
“You have heard that it was said,
You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I say to you, love your enemies
and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be children of your heavenly Father,
for He makes His sun rise on the bad and the good,
and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.
For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have?
Do not the tax collectors do the same?
And if you greet your brothers only,
what is unusual about that?
Do not the pagans do the same?
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Mt 5: 43-48)

love one another as I have loved you. (Jn 13:34)
