Dear Brothers and Sisters,
In our Novena Prayer, we ask Jesus to make our hearts like His:
Alleluia
Whoever loves Me will keep My word,
and My Father will love him
and We will come to him. (Jn 14:23)

In our Novena Prayer, we ask Jesus to make our hearts like His:
Today’s Gospel bids us hear Jesus’ words on how our hearts, by His Grace become more like His Meek and Humble Heart:O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, You said: “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find; knock and and it shall be opened for you” With confidence in Your loving, compassionate Heart, I come to You as the Fountain of every Blessing. I ask You to make my heart humble and holy like Yours.
Grant me to live a holy life and to die a happy death. During this Novena, I humbly ask for certain spiritual and temporal favors: (insert your petitions here).
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray with us and for us.
Alleluia
Whoever loves Me will keep My word,
and My Father will love him
and We will come to him. (Jn 14:23)

Jesus, keep us remaining in You and in Your Word of Truth. Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your Faithful; kindle in us the Fire of Your Love. Mary, Humble Mother and Model of the Church, pray with us and for us.Jesus said to his disciples:
“Take care not to perform righteous deeds
in order that people may see them;
otherwise, you will have no recompense from your heavenly Father.
When you give alms, do not blow a trumpet before you,
as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets
to win the praise of others.
Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
But when you give alms,
do not let your left hand know what your right is doing,
so that your almsgiving may be secret.
And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.
“When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites,
who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners
so that others may see them.
Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door,
and pray to your Father in secret.
And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.
“When you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites.
They neglect their appearance,
so that they may appear to others to be fasting.
Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
so that you may not appear to others to be fasting,
except to your Father who is hidden.
And your Father who sees what is hidden will repay you.” (MT 6:1-6, 16-18)
