Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The Mass readings for today were unavailable at the USCCB site so I went to another site. Having read all the Readings, I chose to post the Gospel for it says so much we all need to hear, really listen to, with the ears of our hearts, to ponder and to do the Truth we hear as our Mother Mary did!
Gospel Matthew 7:21-29 ©

The wise man built his house on a rock

Jesus said to his disciples: ‘It is not those who say to me, “Lord, Lord,” who will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the person who does the will of my Father in heaven. When the day comes many will say to me, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, work many miracles in your name?” Then I shall tell them to their faces: I have never known you; away from me, you evil men!

‘Therefore, everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on rock. Rain came down, floods rose, gales blew and hurled themselves against that house, and it did not fall: it was founded on rock. But everyone who listens to these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a stupid man who built his house on sand. Rain came down, floods rose, gales blew and struck that house, and it fell; and what a fall it had!’

Jesus had now finished what he wanted to say, and his teaching made a deep impression on the people because he taught them with authority, and not like their own scribes.
Jesus’ Word remains True for all times until the end when there will be no more time but only eternity for us in heaven or hell. These are serious times for Christians – indeed especially for Catholic Christians --we can’t say we weren’t warned. Scripture is clear for all who pray to the Holy Spirit and receive the grace to hear and do the Truth He was sent to bring to the Church at Pentecost. Catholics can read the Catechism which also warns us of the last days.

In 1917 Mary Appeared at Fatima and promised in the end her Immaculate Heart will triumph. It is of course Jesus Who triumphs through Mary as He came the first time through Mary so He will come in the end through her. Genesis 3: 15 reveals to us God’s Plan from the beginning:
I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; They will strike at your head, while you strike at their heel.
Come Holy Spirit fill the Hearts of Your Faithful.; kindle in us the Fire of Your Love. Increase in us the Supernatural Gifts given to us at Baptism - especially the Gift of Wisdom! Fill us as you filled Mary with Jesus. Jesus we trust in You. Mary, Mother of the Church, and Seat of Wisdom, pray for us.

Dear Stephie,

Thanks again, for your Faithful and Loving “heart”! which is always a testimony to your Love for God’s Truth - as it is revealed to us in Jesus – our Way, our Truth and our Life – given to us through Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit; and also revealed to us in the Words of Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the Magisterium of the Church.

Today’s Mass readings (June 26) again give us much to ponder in our hearts, with our Mother Mary, as she listened to all she heard and then did the Truth she heard!
