Just for fun - Did the fruit impart knowledge?

Well, we’re still at odds. You haven’t said anything that helps me understand why you believe that statement (in red). Satan has lied about God’s very existance, in fact he has done a very good job of convincing some people of the truth in that lie. He gets others to believe that yes, God exists but he’s an angry, judgemental god who’s just waiting for you to put a toe out of line and then he’ll gleefully send you to hell. So what do you base your assertion on?

I used Genesis, Luke and Job as moments in time where we see Satan interacting with man, God, and Jesus. We see in Genesis he used a truth to deceive (you shall not die They did not experience “BAM-your dead.” Yes, this is a deception, but it is a reflection of the truth.). In Job, we see God gives Satan his authority. In Luke we see Satan testing Jesus as the Son of God and his divinity. While talking with Jesus, we see Satan quoting Ps 91, saying throw you self down and if you are the Son of God, the angels will protect you. (But here Satan foolishly tries to use God’s word against God).

I am not standfast on this assertion and would love to hear any opposition. I am really just thinking about Satan’s power and authority (and one particular religion). I keep seeing how, God’s word shines like hot forge, stripping away the impurities of man and Satan.

Was your comment about Satan lying to God’s existance a Biblical reference, because every reference I see the devils testify to Jesus’s authority. (Matt. 8:29; Mark 1:24; 5:7; Luke 4:34; Act 19:15; James 2:19).
