Just for fun… two questions:
  1. if you could move a Catholic community in your country, where would move to?
  2. If your home country/nation becomes very anti-Catholic, what nation would you move to, if you could?
My answers:
  1. I live in the United States, so I would move to Ave Maria, FL or Front Royal, VA, or Lafayette, Louisiana - if I could.
  2. while I have no Polish blood, I think I would want to move to Poland.
God bless

  1. I think I would move to Nashville, TN because of the Nashville Dominican order down there. They are pretty awesome.
  2. Ireland and Scotland have always been my favorites, mainly because of the landscape and such.

I would like to move to Merrimack, New Hampshire, and teach at the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, a fine Catholic institution. I am not sure what I would teach, though. Maybe math and science.

Another country? So many to choose from. Peru.

My heart is in Baltimore, MD since that is where my ancestor, Archbishop John Carroll, S.J., the first Bishop and Archbishop of the Catholic Church in the USA lived.

Another country? Italy, of course.

I’d move closer to one of the Benedictine abbeys here in the U.S., so I could more easily participate in their life of prayer. I’d have to further research the nearby communities to decide which monastery.

Outside the U.S., I’d move to Mount Athos. I’d be the only Catholic living there, but my holiness would eventually win over the Orthodox, leading to the end of the Catholic-Orthodox schism and our long hoped for reunion (as long as we’re dreaming, might as well dream big 😉).

I lived in one great Catholic community and moved to another one already. I hope never to move again. 😝

As for another country, I’d love to live in Rome. It wouldn’t be practical, of course, but it would be nice to spend so much time in all those churches.
