Dear friends

Do you live in the moment you actually possess? Or are you wrapped up in worry about the future? Do you follow St Therese of Liseux in praying ‘Just for Today’? Or do you let things of the tomorrow you may not possess overtake your spirit?

God Bless you and much love and peace to you

Teresa

Dear Teresa,

You caught me! 😃 God gave me the gift of organization and planning. I do let it take over my thoughts of the moment. I definitely live in the future.

How about putting the prayer on this thread?

Peace,
Jen

Lord, for tomorrow and its needs I do not pray;
Keep me, my God, from stain of sin just for today.
Help me to labor earnestly and duly pray;
Let me be kind in word and deed, Father, today.

Let me no wrong or idle word unthinking say;
Set Thou a seal upon my lips through all today.
Let me in season, Lord, be grave, in season gay;
Let me be faithful to Thy grace, dear Lord, today.

And if, today, this life of mine should ebb away,
Give me Thy sacrament divine, Father, today.
So for tomorrow and its needs I do not pray;
Still keep me, guide me, love me, Lord, through each day.

Nice to live in the moment, but unfortunately worldly concerns are ever present. I need to plan stuff in order to fullfill all my obligations. Nice to slow down and be in the moment with God though… 🙂

Dearest Jenlyn

Organisation is not a bad thing, infact I need people like you as I am unorganised!!!🙂 .

It is the forebearance of worry for the future and a worry that does not have trust in God within it, even if the worst befalls us, we must trust in Him.

I have a feeling the time of martyrdom is not over and there will again be opposition to Christianity on a scale that will be aboherent. Not this day , not tomorrow, but therefore we must just seek the day we are in and live as such, pray as such and love as though this is the last day…Just for Today…

God Bless you and much love and peace to you

Teresa
