Just found out a grade school friend died

I had a friend in grade school (and my first crush) passed away on St. Patrick’s day. Ironically his name was Patrick. I have not seen him in many years but he was apparently addicted to heroin and though I am not sure I suspect it may have something to do with his untimely death. He was 26. Please pray for his soul.
 
I’m so sorry. Patrick will be in my prayers. Heroin addiction is very sad and scary.

A few years ago I found out my kindergarten best friend had been murdered. We lost touch after I moved away. When I learned about her death, even though it was much later (her killer had already been convicted), it shook me up for quite a while.
 
I am very sorry about the death of your childhood friend. I will pray for the happy repose of his soul…and I will remember his loved ones in my prayers.
 
Sorry for your loss. Life sure can have its rough patches.

Lost my highschool gf too.

She was 15 at the time.

I don’t think I’ve ever really gotten past it.

But then it was partly my fault. So there’s that.
