Just got back from my first TLM experience

I just got back from my first time at a Tridentine mass. I really enjoyed the reverence and Latin.

The only thing that puzzled me was how involved the altar servers are. I kinda felt left out and it made me want to be an altar server. Except I’m pretty sure the church is set on the four servers they already are using. Plus, I am going to college this fall, and I wouldn’t be bringing a car. I think the buses would take like 20 minutes to get there. I think that I would probably still be able to go that church once in a while, though. The church is right next to the zoo, so I’m sure the buses go there.

Excellent, brother. If you are inclined to join the ministry of servers, go for it by all means. They can always use back ups even if they have several already. You’ll learn a ton about the Mass. Dominus tecum.
 
The TLM I go to often has six or eight altar boys. If you are interested, by all means, talk to the priest. You will receive some extensive training before you are allowed to serve.
