I joined this forum to get help, but at the same time I feel like it’s hurting me more than helping.

It’s just making me feel even worse about the things I’ve done, I don’t know whether I should continue or leave.

Everyone isn’t the same, you don’t know what people have been through, yet people are still quick to judge.

Is there anyone else in my shoes, or was in my shoes, how did you deal with it?

Sorry you feel that way man. The best you can do is talk with a priest about your troubles with confession and if you’re in a state of mortal sin just sit out communion. Let the past die and get a good confession.

Could you go into a little bit more detail? We all have our crosses to bear, so some of us are a little bit more impatient than other people, it’s not that we’re trying to be cruel, it’s that we have a lot on our minds. You have to understand, that we have dealt with a numerous amount of trolls on this website, and some of us are quick to anger to begin with. I don’t know if that’s what you’re going through or not, but I mean as you yourself seem to understand, everyone is different.

Go take the communion with your sister” and I didn’t want to say no because I felt like they were going to judge me and say “wow he sinned already right after confessing last Sunday”
Never feel that you’re pressured into receiving unworthily! I got around this embarrassing issue by joining the choir so nobody had to see that I skipped communion 😅 Go to confession monthly and you can explain to your folks that you’ll occasionally sit out communion.

G,

Don’t be afraid to post here. Most of the people here are kind and considerate. I come here for advice and to learn about the Faith. Please don’t leave because you may have something to offer!

Please don’t let those who “are quick to judge” discourage you from remaining on this forum. It is not for anyone to judge you or your standing with the Lord. Those posters can be very damaging to others while contributing little to the conversation.

As Stuart said, please don’t leave because you may have something to offer. Personally, I’ve learned more from people who say they are lost, or confused, or don’t understand, than I have from any of the self proclaimed “experts” on the faith of the RCC.

Peace
